Mount Cook Flights

Soar over Mount Cook, New Zealand's highest mountain, and explore Fox and Franz Jospeh Glaciers

Mount Cook scenic flight
South face of Mt Cook

The Mount Cook flight is one of the worlds great scenic flights. Like the Grand Canyon this area is a World Heritage Area protected by UN Convention. You will enjoy unparalleled views of the New Zealand Southern Alps. You pass New Zealand’s highest mountain, Mount Cook and its glaciers, experiencing living remnants of the last Ice Age.

We recommend landing at Fox township which is near the terminus of the magnificent Fox glacier, where you can take a helicopter or ski plane ride onto the glacier neve. Time is also allowed for refreshments. You will have a window seat with unimpeded views and our aircraft are equipped with individual headsets to enable you to hear the experienced pilot’s informative commentary.
